Dionicio–a proud gay man, Puerto Rican singer, and acclaimed Salsa dancer. 

Dionicio was born and raised in Boston. There in Massachusetts, at the age of eleven, he was introduced to a form of dance called Salsa On2 by Victor & Burju from Hacha Y Machete Dance Company. During this introduction, Dionicio not only fell in love with salsa, but with the music that drives it and his culture he could express through it. In dance, he found an identity.

At the age of twenty-one, Dionicio launched his own dance program called Out Salsa Boston. This program helped bring the art of salsa dance to the local gay community. It was during this time, Dionicio established a professional dancing and teaching partnership with ballet principal Jose Rodriguez.

During his twenties, Dionicio decided to take his career to the next logical place: New York City. He knew that if he could prove himself there–if he could give a passionate singing voice to his already developed dance talent–then he could fulfill his destiny as an artist.

For Dionicio, Salsa is a celebration of identity for his LGBTQI community. He creates music which–without apology–says proudly, “This is who we are!” A Latino artist who embraces his lifestyle and culture simultaneously, Dionicio is up and coming. He is a fabulous dancer–a "sonero" in the most honored tradition of salsa–and an important voice for his gay and latin communities. Saludo a Mr BStyles’ world of inclusion, amor y sabor!
